Opening Bisto Grutsk expo
Did you know that sûnens means 'cheers' and 'to your health' in Frisian? Something I learned while installing the Bisto Grutsk exhibition. I was commissioned by Sûnenz/ZuidOostZorg to create sixteen museum-worthy portraits. The result was unveiled today!
Wist je dat sûnens ‘proost’ en ‘op je gezondheid’ betekent in het Fries? Leerde ik tijdens het opbouwen van de tentoonstelling Bisto Grutsk. Ik was door Sûnenz/ZuidOostZorg gevraagd om zestien museumwaardige portretten te maken. Het resultaat werd vandaag onthuld!

What a day! Yesterday we kicked off Comfortzone — Gea Schenk’s final exhibition as curator of Wallhouse, featuring work by Emily Wortel, Anita Oosterloo, and yours truly.
Wat een dag! Gisteren trapten we Comfortzone af in Wallhouse — de laatste tentoonstelling op die plek van curator Gea Schenk, met werk van Emily Wortel, Anita Oosterloo en ondergetekende.
