Otherworldly

Two weeks ago I got to do something really cool again: I not only received a commission but also carte blanche from SRI Veenwouden-Holland to take photos within their company. Operating from Veenwouden (in Frisia, the Netherlands), they work on a global scale and have been making special stainless steel constructions since the 1960s.
From an aerial work platform, I took photos of, among other things, two enormous reactor vessels. Soon these 80,000 kg giants will be transported to China.
Twee weken geleden heb ik weer iets heel tofs mogen doen: ik kreeg niet alleen opdracht maar ook carte blanche van SRI Veenwouden-Holland om foto’s binnen hun bedrijf te maken. Vanuit het Friese Veenwouden opereren ze op wereldschaal en maken ze sinds de jaren ‘60 speciale roestvrijstalen constructies.
Vanaf een hoogwerker heb ik foto’s gemaakt van onder andere twee enorme reactorvaten. Eerdaags gaan de 80.000 kg wegende kolossen op transport naar China.
