Wow, I've found something where AI completely drops the ball.
At least, for now.
AI speaks more than 200 languages. AlphaFold predicted the 3D structure of almost all known proteins in a single year — a task that would have kept lab researchers busy for centuries. It has an unbeatable command of facts, which all of us gratefully draw on every day. AI can now outplay humans at chess, Go, poker, StarCraft, or even act as a psychotherapist. And my Tesla currently drives seven to nine times more safely than I do.
But coming up with believable, original, or moving quotes for my series What were you thinking? Nope.

AI spreekt meer dan 200 talen. AlphaFold voorspelde de 3D-structuur van vrijwel alle bekende eiwitten in één jaar tijd, waar laboranten anders honderden jaren mee bezig zouden zijn geweest. Het heeft een niet te overtreffen feitenkennis, waar we met zijn allen dagelijks dankbaar gebruik van maken. AI kan inmiddels beter schaak, Go, poker, StarCraft spelen — of psychotherapeut. En mijn Tesla kan momenteel 7 tot 9 keer veiliger rijden dan ik.
Maar geloofwaardige, originele of ontroerende quotes bedenken voor mijn serie What were you thinking? Nee dus.
