Rijksmuseum
I have been to the Rijksmuseum many times, but each time I discover new things. Until June 9th, a special exhibition on the work of Frans Hals is now on display there. Especially when combined with Tom Waes' audio tour via the free museum app, it’s an absolute must-see! Fascinating that Frans Hals was some 300 years ahead of his time with his impressionist style of painting. Also well worth seeing: the relatively unknown photographic work of André Bogaerts.
Ik ben al vaak in het Rijksmuseum geweest, maar elke keer ontdek ik weer nieuwe dingen. Tot 9 juni is daar nu een speciale tentoonstelling over het werk van Frans Hals te zien. Zeker in combinatie met de audiotour van Tom Waes via de gratis museumapp een must-see! Fascinerend dat Frans Hals met zijn impressionistische schilderstijl zijn tijd zo’n 300 jaar vooruit was. Ook zeer de moeite waard: het relatief onbekende fotografische werk van André Bogaerts.
