After eight years of plugging away, dealing with the whole COVID period, and three sons, last Monday the day finally arrived. Dr. van Essen-Eissen, now a GP trainee, got to defend her dissertation on breast cancer. Quite an achievement, on top of everything else. Congratulations, Bertha!
Na acht jaar ploeteren, het dealen met de hele corona-periode, en drie zonen, was het afgelopen maandag zo ver. Dr. van Essen-Eissen, inmiddels huisarts-in-opleiding, mocht haar proefschrift over borstkanker verdedigen. Toch óók knap. Van harte proficiat, Bertha!
